Words said in anger
That you never can retract.
Much like a bullet,
Once fired can never come back.
Words like fired bullets
Leave burning holes in the wake.
But if given a choice
The heat of the bullet I'd always take.

I believe all people can relate to this wonderful poem. It may be short but it's saturated with truth, and the truth is intensified by the ferocity of your analogy. You're a good writer.

You did so well with this short and bittersweet poem. The style, rhyme and flow were perfect. The words have certain sting and truth. On a personal level...I love you. I am here always for you, and know this pain all too well. Hugs and love your way my sis. You are always in my thoughts.
