Perfume (bilingual)

Cheiro de orvalho na grama
or cinnamon on warm apple
O perfume dela acendeu sua chama
More than only her visual
É o cheiro de pele que ele ama

Pine trees under a Summer moon
exalam o odor das noites caladas
of her lips as she speaks in a soft tune
e do encontro de costas arcadas
in a warm night of June

Cheiro de lábios tocados por desejos
Smells like sweet mango and orange
entre amassos, suspiros e arquejos
What a challenge...
definir a fragrância de eternos beijos

But more than anything
É o cheiro de pele que ele ama

Gacela of Unforseen Love is a poem by Federico Lorca which I like very much.
It speaks of the scent a man in love smells on the body of his lover.
Cheiro de pele - Scent of skin

You have captured an essence of Lorca here too, whether spoken aloud or subvocally this poem has a lovely and quiet voice, in each language the verses flow, and the feeling is so very similar, the mellifluous, seamless movement. Playing upon the senses and the imagination in equal and fragant ways, this is truly a fine example of bilingual writing excellence, but in either..or both languages it is a wonderful aroma- Cheiro de pele... thank you for this wonderful entry, truly a reflection of Lorca...PK

Um sentimento tão encantador, em inglês ou no português o pássaro canta, e voa através da cara da lua… PK

So beautiful, even without knowing the Portuguese, brings a feeling of love and the scents of those warm June days are there with the closeness of two as one...
    He has good taste!
(No, I don't know your perfumes, but from the poem the scents are alive and gentle and he has good tase anyway as he seems, lol, to like you too

    Thanks!

For the translations...it's far more sensual than I at first understood. I can't say more here.
