my fingertips wrote, slowly

our tickle & kiss fight
left us upside down
laughing out loud
as we fell to the ground
pink-faced & breathless
never had we laughed so hard
i tilted my head to look at
the boy who stole my heart
the boy who was looking
at me now, silently
never had i seen someone like that
filled with so much happiness & love,
you were all kinds of beautiful
the blinds were drawn,
& the room was dim,
but you were shining brighter than anything
it was in that moment i was brought to life
& regardless of what may happen
it will forever live in my heart & mind
just like you, beautiful
because you know, you know
even if i do live to be a hundred years old
maybe even a hundred & two
i'd never get over this,

Very Memorable
I really enjoyed reading this. I am sorry it has taken me so long to send you a response. I just got home from the hospital tonight so, I can not make a very long comment. I did like the poem you did well. I will post later more about my hospital stay. I am really tired tonight.
