The first time I saw you,
I knew that we were meant to be.
And when you held me in your arms,
I felt true love.
At that moment, I knew
that I was meant to be with you.
The first time we kissed,
I swear that I saw fireworks.
You swept me off my feet,
and made me weak in the knees.
And since that moment,
I've only been able to focus on you.
The first time you saw me cry,
you were there to dry my eyes
and wipe my tears away,
just like a real love should.
And the things you said to me
touched my heart and soul.
From that moment on, I knew
that our love was entirely true.
I want to be with you for all eternity.
You make my heart race,
my breath come in gasps, and
my stomach flip.
And yet, I can't survive without you.
This I knew since that moment
when I first saw you,
because I saw and felt true love
at last...

Wow, I haven't written on here in forever. Well, I now have a new fiance (a much better one I should add), so he is the focus of this particular poem. He's from Canada, so that's where a lot of this inspiration came from, what with the first time seeing each other and all.
