Job Description: Big Sister

Qualities Required: 

1.  She must:
fight with younger sibling
all your life until one of us
goes to college and we realize that
we're not against each other
we're against mom.

2.  She must:
spy on younger sister when
she goes out on her first date and
report that she behaved properly
and as a young lady regardless of
what she did.

3.  She must:
tattle-tale on younger sister
when she steals her barbies
even though she's only 5

4.  She must:
defend her when she has a party
when the folks are gone
and turn on the air conditioning
to get the pot smell
out of the house
and disinfect
the concrete basement floor
and drive the drunk teenagers home
so nobody gets killed

5.  She must:
be available to hear stories
and not comment
because
she
is
smart enough
to make her own decisions

6.  She must:
give a beautiful toast
at her wedding

7.  She must:
not be jealous or envious of
her success because
she's worked so hard to
achieve it all

8.  She must:
love her to the ends of the earth.
