Pulling on your disguse
Cold, Metallic and Icy.
Steel boots, Titanium gloves,
Silver mask,
and a cape of pure black evil.
You reach back in towards my heart,
the place you used to call home
with Betrail, Malice and Hatred
where Love, Hope and Laughter used to live.
A shiver down my spine
as these unfamiliar gloves grasp my heart
trying to crush me.
And I can't breathe. Gasping for air
I look back out to the real world
and there you are, really saying things
I thought you'd never
be stuipid enough to say.
And there I am
salty tears staining the carpet.
Watching bloody stains blossom
onto the pure white sheet that was
our friendship.
Eight years of Love
And I thought you knew me better.
And I'm left wondering why
I've been betrayed by my best friend.
Oh how I miss the warm caress of who you used to be.

this is about something im trying to get over a lot quicker than i should.... i'd really appriciate any comments as i havent written anything in a while and i'm not really sure if what im churning out is worth reading anymore... be as harsh as you want!

i liked it. it gave me shivers right before you said 'shivers down my spine'. it flowed well. i think the layout was a little difficult to read, but no biggie, didn't bother me much.
i can kinda relate too, which is always a plus. from what i got personally ... it's like he loved you and said it and everything was all jolly until he changed into a mean mean guy (lol). and i understand everything about it. your last line was probably my favorite part. great write.
