~Hunting~

Full

moon hangs on

indigo sheet of night; where

shadows roam free, forest below stirs

with a demon filled haze. Transformation

takes hold to fur and fang; growling and howling,

paws races across moss covered ground;

stalking, and taking down

 demon prey.

Confusion screams til deadly silence fills

the glade. Wolven howls bellow beneath a blood

splatter mask; emerald glaciers pierce the spirit. Salivating

jaws apply bone crushing force, life's essence ejected from trembling

heart; blood lingers with a scent of sweet cloying copper, Raven

covens and wisdom death watchers peer from above; rivers and

streams once clear, turn black as pitch with crimson delight.

Divine howls with a carnal appetite, wicked laughter fills the

clouded night. Fanfir on gory wings, and brilliant scarlet

scales; swoops down, collecting mangled corpses

which dangle from talon's grasp soaring beyond

eyes stretch into Death's dreamland. Upon

the razor's edge of lunar blade, dancing

on Fenris's rage; fur and fang morph

fluidly sweet back to witches

hidden beneath fey

enchantment

in dark

glen.

    Delightful

A delightfully dark poem filled with some brilliant imagery that makes for a wonderful dark read.

The poem has a natural fluid flow that enhances this read and the topic is unique and therefore refreshing.

Let the ink flow and your fingers dance.

LOved the way you shaped this poem with your words in the physical sense as well as the lyrical sense, well written and reminds me of walking through a haunted wood on a dark lonley night, when all the evil critters are about, Ooga booga Nicly done

    Ummm...

WOw.. you two have done a fantastic job of showing the darker side of the lupin existence. Rage and pain combine in this haunting piece. I am left breathless and at times, still looking over my shoulder for one to appear. Great job

    Very Good

Nice dark fantasy write. You format is imaginative also. You have done well on the collaboration, it all blends in well. Fantasy is not my usual cup of tea, but this is entertaining.
