Among The Haunted

Asleep in hallways paved with linoleum,
Woken in rooms of haunted dreams.
Tears of grief intermingled,
With screams of the lost.

Alone in the heart of desperation,
Escape sought in the soul.
Lost within the labyrinth of memory,
Distorted images of death.

Idols of love,
Lost with dust from the tomb.
Anger insatiable,
Overflowing banks of misery.

Images of past resurface,
Brillancy in light.
Withdrawn at attempts to touch again,
Numbers on cards are all that remain.

Where inside hallowed ground,
Lasting impressions death.
Carved signatures of pain,
Among the haunted.

    Interesting....

I liked this one, interesting topic for sure, and it really grabbed my attention. Your use of words like insatiable and hallowed, and the like, were definitely captivating and impressive! Very nice! This almost describes how humans are becoming I would say! Sadly... =/ Good job!!!

I feel so at a loss

Reading this poem Aidenn is giving me such
Insights as to what I that am so faraway as I read
Between the lines, like your sister you both show
Such skills at a young age, Guess that comes from
Having a great MOM. Thank you very much
For writing such master pieces just marvelous, and
Gifted, for the first time I am speechless.
