I took the drug
in hope for a change
I took a chance
and loved you the same
They were left turns
made on a "right-turn-only" street
I made a big mistake
and now my heart mourns.

Great write. Drugs are such a mistake. Something so temporary can end up being a permanent mistake. You penned some great lines. Well done.
