dark corner

i sit in a dark corner alone
waiting for you to come home
my heart has been broken in two
because i am without you
please do not leave me for long
it makes me feel like i do not belong
when our eyes first met ,it was as if i
was in a trance
i thought it was just by chance
but i was mistaken, it was all wrong
all that was there is now gone
so hear my voice speak out
from the rooftops i'll shout
now i shall leave you
and start my life anew

goodbye....
