Two years on I still feel the same.
Losing my child has caused this pain.
I think about her over and over again.
I look down in to my very soul.
And I remember the day my heart went cold.
On that very sad December day.
I remember as my hand it trembled.
As I tried to cut a piece of her hair.
So she would be remembered.
I tried to do it with such care.
I kissed her face of stone and cried .
Just a memory of the day my Nikki died.
Life goes on and I stay the same.
No one will really know my pain.
And I know a life time of tears
wont bring her back again.

As one who has lost 6 unborn young I can relate to this a lot and although they say time is a great healer there is never a day that passes when I don't think about my babies and feel such an overwhelming feeling of loss. This may not be the most excellently written piece of poetry but I commend you for having the courage to write about it. Well done and the best of luck for the future.

This was good, but very sad. It's always painful when you've lost a loved one no matter how much time passes. Peace and God Bless.
