Staples and Hurt and All that is Broken

she lays on pinheads
counting cracks
on broken ceilings
after swearing goodbye
to all those that loved to touch her--

staples beside each dripping lash
as she weeps in the promises
left rotting
beside her

and rolls over to touch noses
with the stench

this reminds me of a vision of a crack addict, laying on the floor.. it's vivid, caustic and rather bloody good, if you ask me..

i digged the imagery and strong sense of purpose with this one Meli.. well done

I love it. I am not sure about the whole staples beside lash. Perhaps over my head; but I cannot place why they would be there...anyhow the overall feel of the piece is raw and hopeless for sure. Not so much scary I guess...but great nonetheless...

This scared me, I liked the conclusion though. It's raw.

      Scared you?

It's odd. I have no idea where it came from, but figured I should post it anyways.

hehe, yes, I'm easily frightened. Not really sure why, this just felt so.... hopeless.

        Haha, Meli is an oddball.

never fear, being the oddball is so much fun (but not as fun as being the whore)
