What shall never be,
is bitter anger in my heart
Precious are life’s moments,
to waste in such misery
So I surround myself with those who truly love life
For kindness, gentle and caring thoughts,
will contagiously carry a smile
Poetic is my heart,
beating with romance and dreams,
wrapped in words of softness from within
Musical soul sings,
from an early age
as performing is my garden of Eden
Rainbows, children’s laughter,
or snuggled up, around a fire,
feeds happiness into my soul
Five foot five? Wearing high heels of course!!!!!
Love to laugh, create memories, love to listen
Once a brunette, Hey Looneyeclipse.. I’m a blonde!
It’s no secret that we do have more fun!
Black is my wardrobe,
pink roses make me smile
Brown eyes, brimmed with amazement for life
Ignorance is something I have trouble tolerating
Country living, as my privacy is enjoyed
Will stand my ground, very firmly when needed
Love my country, my four children and my man
So…sometimes I will vent,
Quiet, but outgoing
One more thing…
I tend to vacuum when I’m mad
Challenges in life, I won’t let bring me down
Won’t allow it,
I’ll be fine…
all is swell!
An abundance of friends, I cherish so much
So lucky to have crossed their paths
Cooking, baking, or just surrounded by nature
Simple pleasures are a treasure to me
All in all,
I simply enjoy life
As you read this silly little poem,
This is just, a little corner of me…
I’m just a woman,
still a girl
in a glance!

This was written very well
I am sure this was hard to do as we so many times find it hard to write about our self, but you done this with in style and taste and described yourself so well, I now feel Like I know so much about you. Congrats on the trophy as well

I tried to write a poem about myself once and I know exactly what you mean - it is a very difficult thing to do - I thought this poem was charming, very feminine and I liked the soulful quality of this poem, how you celebrate the simple pleasures in life. My house is somewhat messy at times due to the amount of us who all live here..lol But I do also vacuum even when not needed when I am upset..lol so I do try and be the good Mom and keep things tidy when I can..lol
