The Last Stand

Missing image
Ten Bears sat with Custer...
"There will be no peace!
for I will not set back and
let you steal the land from me...
Your words have no truth in them
so there is no need to talk of peace.
Today is a good day to die
and so it shall be!"

Tribes from many Nations
came togather as one,
the Pipe of Peace was between them all.
They would make one last stand
to defend there home!

For victory would be theirs
but little did they know
that there would never be
another victory,
for the Indians way of life would be gone!

This story is sad but true!
Now look around, what do you see...
man is still destroying everything.
Soon his own way of life will
                            ...just be history!

Sad but the Indians are STILL HERE!

This is sad but true. The Indians beat the odds! You know your people beat the odds. Where another race would of melted into and caved into pressure yours stand tall. Be proud of who you are tender!!
It is time we come together between many races and tribes and get this thing RIGHT before it is too LATE!
    Our world is dying...
We need eachother more than ever.

    EXTRAORDINARY AMERICAN LITERARY ARTIFACT!

THATS WHAT THIS IS. THE RUSTIC BACKROUND, THE OUTRAGES PHOTOGRAPH. IT GIVE ME THE FEELING THAT SOMEONE FOUND THIS SOMEWHERE. A PIECE OF HISTORY THAT IS MENTIONED SO LITTLE IN OUR SCHOOLS AND GOVERMENT AND CHURCHES. IT ANGERS ME THAT A GREAT CIVILIZATION WAS WIPED OUT. IT SEEMS NO MATTER WHERE THE WHITE MAN GOES, THERE IS DEATH. OUR LATEST GOOD DEED FOR MANKIND..IRAQ.OIL. BUT MILLIONS OF CHILDREN DIE IN AFRICA, BUT THE ARE DARK, WITH NO OIL. WE STOLED THIS LAND FROM BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL PEOPLE,THEN BROUGHT BLACK PEOPLE FROM AFRICA TO DO OUR WORK WITH NO PAY...SLAVES.AND OFCOURSE THE CIVIL WAR WHERE WE KILL ONE ANOTHER! AND ITS BEEN ONE DEATH DANCE AFTER ANOTHER SINCE. THIS POME DID ITS JOB.TO THINK! AND MAYBE THIS POEM MIGHT FIND IT WAY TO SOMEONE THAT CAN ACTUALY DO SOMTHING ABOUT ALL THE INJUSTICE THAT WE HAVE CREATED.
    GOOD JOB.
