I opened my heart to you
And you locked yourself out.
I offered my heart to you,
But you kept rejecting it.
I know I love you.
I tell you constantly.
I know I am an annoyance
Always pestering you.
You tell me to leave
I answer with my same reply:
Tell me you hate me;
But you never do.
It gives me hope
But I still fear that
One day I'll hear those words
And then you'll know how much I've loved
Or have been obsessed with you
As I fall to the ground,
A lifeless heap,
For hearing those words would kill me.
