Earth is the blaze's bed,
the giver of life to the habitants of the world.
It caresses and cares.
Air is the kindler of fire,
it sways the trees, stirs the snow, pushes the waves.
It refreshes and awakens.
Water is the banisher of the furnace,
it feeds and nourishes the living, it washes away the tainted.
It cools and calms.
But I, Fire, am the giver of light. The blazing fury of a burning forest, the gentle glowing embers of fallen leaves.
I destroy the Earths Children, Air gives me life...but Water, as weak as it may seem...
Will always be responsible for my demise.
Author notes
I'm doing the personification of the elements, from one element's point of view.

Interesting and unique way to look at the elements - liked the flow and the way you presented this - worked through it to a good conclusion.

Very nice, i think you're the first to do anything with the elements. I must say I disagree slightly with you saying that fire destroy's earth's children as it has both the power to destroy and to give life, but anyways, this was well done. Great job and thank you for entering. Good luck.
