My bridge of dreams
Bundled I walk upon a snowy path
steamy breath mist arising with my laugh.
I walk alone thinking so much of you
and your loyalty with true friendship too.
Jack Frost has kissed my lips with coldness now
He cannot touch me, no I won't allow.
You know my hot heart which could so love you
but its just a daydream of magic woo.
So, I stroll amidst the snow to a church
as my feet slip, slide and my arms do lurch
grabbing onto snowy and icy rails
trusting this chilly path lest my feet fail.
God, may I sometime find loving embrace.
My breath forms one memory of your face.

I wanted to do a love poem which to be honest is not love but the love of love and the love of being loved. It is a love poem where love survives amidst the cold of winter protected by my steps towards my church in the distance which promises me one day salvation. LOL Smooshies

which may be due to your dew's felting.
If honeydew rhymes felt and melt

My first reaction to this poem was in wow. I like the poem in it's entirety, and not individual lines. Your last few lines really also added to the poem. Good job at writing it.

remembering the simple happening's in our live's is the greatest feature we sometime's ignor and take for grantant till we have them no more bring's back old memory's of talking to my friends at church for myself very nice work ,thanks optional

your title caught my eye but it's not what i expected the poem to be. i didnt like how some words rhymed or choice of certain words used but when you said you strolled and slipped, did that really happen? i thought what followed after was sweet.

I like the simplicity of this, and it gives me a kind of romantic image reading it. I particularly like the lines pertaining to Jack Frost, or the face formed of breath.

I love this poem so mcuh I wanted to come back and rerad it again (and discovered the other one- so that was nice!). The architecture in this poem reminds me of Russian buildings- of course my daughter, who knows everything about art, tells me I'm crazy, and am not noticing the subtlities- I'm sure she's right, but it stirs my imagination, anyway.

In time of grace, humilities are no more
Loving embraces yearn, humble angel of the lore
Hearts afire in circular motions for the one
that isn't there, loving dreams of her, so fair
Brings heart throbbing surges in moonlite air
Love is endured through many a long mile
Binding emotions of a pair in an isle
You have captured in a moment, what most can't find
A human being not young nor fair, spreads love so kind
His heart is ablaze with no regrets
Absent as must be, loving burden consumed
Knight in Shining Armour responds to your moans
Soothes your sweet mind with love stories tones
Loving you for moment reflects as an eternity
Longing to taste the fragrance of your smile
