The stillness evaporates
In silty, salty, ocean stone
I see light
I see light for the first time
Pouring through my hair, the waves are shadow
Arms enfolded
Around myself, sheltering
From what I cannot understand
Exploring, caressing, enfolding
Basking
In the open arms of morning
Awakening
From the friction of these stone walls
The silky sunlight moves through my body
And I stand, exposed
Half-bathed in honesty
Honey smooth and always smiling
Half-chained to the shadows
That still relentlessly follow me
Sliding along my cool body like water droplets
Staining my skin inky black
Dark secrets always enfolding
What beams of sunlight can never touch
Myself in the middle, riding the ocean waves
Between the naked honesty of the morning light
And the whispers of familiar secrets
Waiting for the darkness to fall
And cover me
Completely
At last

"Honey smooth and always smiling
Half-chained to the shadows"
I loved those lines. You did a good job on this. You seemed to capture a vivid moment, although I would have liked to have seen a little more descriptive imagery on the actual form itself. Great job though, and thank you very much for entering my contest.
