Alone ( a poem for 'A Rose In The Rain')

Where did you go
I'm left here all alone
There's no one to ease the pain
Because you're not here anymore

Mom I need you
I'm not trying to be selfish
But I really need you
In my life right now

Next year is my freshman year of high school
I want you to be there
To help me prepare for Home Coming
And meet my date

I'm still a growing girl
And I have a lot to learn
Dad left this world when I was five
And I'm sure you're happy to see him
But now I am orphaned,
Your cancer took you away
With no family to take me in
I don't want to live with a foster family,
But I don't want to live alone

I really need your help
Because I'm so alone
