~My Dearest Inspiration~

Tonight, I am sending hugs
Hugs especially for you
I am glowing in happiness
As you brightened my day
But I need to know
Before I kneel and pray
Do you hear me although you’re far away?
Do you realise you inspire in my dreams?
With my words of poetry
With a few lines written
With encouragement from you
I hope this reaches you
I’m writing these words down
I know you are there
I listen to the sound of your voice
It is a delight to my senses
Even though, you are in the distance
Your arms reach around me
Amongst a newly shaped dune
Know that I am smiling
The way you make me do
Feelings from my heart
To hold them close to you
Fantasy grabs my hand
Strokes to my hair
Closing my eyes I drift
On the silvery moons
The musical notes of favourites tunes
With passion arising
Sensuous and sweet
Arch neat your kiss
Slowly, softly lingers in my ears
Breathe words upon my skin
I don’t care about tomorrow
I’ve given up on yesterday
I’d be sad and lonely
If there were no you
You're the inspiration
You bring feeling to my life
I've looked all my Life for you
And now you're here
In dreams we meet
In waves of love surging
We reach and we sway
Ripples become ecstasy
Until night turns to day
