Such a simple poem but written so beautifully... I can understand how you just want to break away, or did want to break away and that you were not able to break away... It's scary and leaves you helpless and vunerable to other asses that would use and hurt you... I love this write as do I most of your writes.

Having worked with victims of domestic and sexual abuse for many many years...This poem just gave me chills.

Very powerful. Sadly too true. Repeated thousands of times every night in this...the land of the free!
