She's on The Loose

It's a Saturday Night
And my mood is right
There is a full moon on the rise
My babies got her hot pants on
She know's they drive me crazy
She can tantalize and mystify
All the men around her
Boy's you better run and hide

My babies loose
She is in a groove
My babies hot
And you know that it's ok
Because my baby
Only love's me

It is a moon lite night
She will prowl all night
I am just, howling at the moon
Say what you will boy, she's still mine
She's just out having some fun
A little bump and grind and doesy doe
Boy we're having fun now
And now who you laughing at

My babies loose
She is in a groove
My babies hot
And you know that it's ok
Because my baby
Only love's me

I was reading through entries for a contest and started to browse poets that I had not read yet - sort of randomly to expand those that I meet on AP through critiques.

At any rate, I came across one of your comments for Myra, then came to your bio page and skimmed titles of your poems to find something on the lighter side to read that would possibly get one more smile out of me before catching some sleep.

This one certainly did just that. It's nice to find another poet on here that doesn't have all of their writing tied up in serious themes. Though they do have their place and respect warranted - there should be a lighter side in writing as well.

Thanks for bringing it here with this piece.

    Well done.

    Kimmie
