Why do I have to feel like this?
My body keeps getting weaker everyday
At least that's how it feels
Why can't all this just go away?!?

Lord, I know You have a plan in this
But, it's really hard for me
When I'm always weak and hurting
Why don't you grant this plea?

I want to feel strong
And be able to go one day without pain
Then again, I also want to feel you
As at my side, you remain

I know You are in this with me
I know You feel this hurt
I know you truly and deeply care for me
So it must not be a curse

Though it REALLY feels that way at times
But I know that feelings can decieve
So help me know, dear Lord above
As Your healing I want to recieve

My heart has been acting abnormal
And, I REALLY struggle to breathe at times
I'm way too young for this kind of problem
Help me to lean into Your Love, devine

For, it is there that I'll find true rest
And all this stress will fly away
So, right now, let my healing begin
Thank you, Father, for hearing this, I pray

I have been having pretty serious health issues lately. It's been pretty discouraging. I'm 19..I shouldntbe having heart problems or difficulty breathing. But only the Lord knows. It's really hard though, at times, for everyone (not only me) to just give things to God. Especially big stuff. But He cares and loves us more than we could ever fathom.

    this is a lovely poem. i love the fact that it seems to be in a prayer form, giving it a sense of true feeling and meaning. it's strong and hopeful. i hope things turn out the best for you. I'm praying for you!
