It's been forever since I've felt like this,
And I don't want the feeling to go away.
Time seems to slow down,
As we hold each other tight,
Everything seems all right again,
While I'm here in your arms.
For far too long I've longed for this,
For far too long I've needed this,
I've needed you,
But I've been too far away.
Another hug and a kiss goodnight,
This goodbye has gone on forever,
Still don't want to let go,
Please, stay with me tonight.
And we'll sleep side by side,
Wrapped up in your blankets,
Yet keeping each other warm,
Still in each other's arms.
This is what I needed,
What I longed for, what I cherished,
What I yearned for, what I dreamt of.
This is our perfection.

Uh. I so did not mean for it to kinda sound like sex was involved in this poem. "Stay with me tonight" is not insinuating that at all, and all they do is sleep next to each other. o.o;

I like this alot... i know the feeling of missing someone you love, and just wanting to be with them. Then when you do get to be with the person, it seems like nothing can go wrong
