Jazz Band Loves To Share Germs (We're All Sick)

I've had a sub in school almost every class this week
Music rehersals and clubs have been cancelled
Mother and Dad have called out sick
This epidemic needs to be handled

I'm surprised I haven't contracted it yet
Usually I have the weakest immune system
For once I'm glad I have no boyfriend
And he was sick - I might have kissed him

I'm not so lucky in Jazz Band though
We have a habit of being curious
So we try everyone else's mouthpiece and reeds
The fact we don't wash them first is notorious

Now it's Friday, B-Block out of G
I'm queasy and must be a little green
I just want to leave and go home to sleep
But that damn new nurse is way too mean.
