theres one boy
who knows
all my secrets.
he's heard my story.
he's felt my pain.
he saw inside me
when no one else
was looking.
he touched my heart
but didn't inflict pain.
he has power
over me.
every day
he sets me free
from the tears
of my yesterdays.
he gives me strength
to just walk away.
when life gets too tough
he keeps me sane.
when i am scared
he is strong,
standing beside me,
holding me up,
leading me on.
the world
can't compete
with my super hero's
strength.
there is never
a question of safety.
whatever the world
wants of me
he's always happy
just to see me smile.
i don't have
to be someone else.
theres no secret identity
for me.
