Ho, ho, ho-py birthday

A birthday is a special day
Filled with smiles and bows
But December birthdays are the best
Cause they’re filled with ho, ho, ho’s

The reindeer brought you to your home
Because the storks can’t stand the snow
They left you lying by the fire
With a note saying: ho, ho, ho

So have a happy birthday
May your day be a big buffet
Have your cake and ice cream too
And have a ho, ho, ho-py birthday

    What a great background to this poem - so wintery, like the snow should be landing on my fingers as I type this. Loved the flow and the message of these lines - so up beat and ho-ppy. Have a brother in law born Dec. 23 - we always celebrate it too - party at his house and the whole family comes. YOU HAVE BEEN HOOD-WINKED BY THE POETIC BANDITS. This is your day.

    Finally a birthdayparty where there is cake...I hope they will save me a piece before I will be there...

    Great entry in this contest, and the background is just wonderful

    It's a pitty you can't win here.....
    But I ho ho ho liked it a lot
