My Best Friend

When my tears begin to fall...
As they sometimes do.
I know just who to call,
I'm so glad that I have you.

For all the times that I have felt alone.
When I shut the world out.
Thank you for knowing the words that touch my soul.

Friendship is a word that cannot explain,
Just how much you do.
You found me and somewhere along the way I found you.

Though it has not always been easy.
The cherished things never are.
It has always been real,
It has always been true.
When everything is on the line
I know I can turn to you.

I see the ones that walk into your life,
As if its the latest trend.
They can never tred on what we have.
With us there is no one to impress.
It's just you & I.
