i tried to save you from yourself
but you kept turning around and walking away
but then i realized
i don't know how to save a life
until now i couldn't even save myself
but then i learn a little something about life
and kid, i'm gonna let you know
you can't run from the ones you love
you can't run from yourself
so this is my plan
it's how to save a life
it starts with a slow but lengthy intervention
cause empathy and cigerettes
are mans best invention
and you're so drunk on alcohol \
that you can't even see that i'm here
get it together and get it out
cause you just found out how to save a life

again, very nice, lines one and two were......wow lol, 5, 6, and line 8 also are wow, lol...and you're right, you can't run from the one's you love, and you can never forget your past either lol...amazingly well written. Good title for it too
