the phone fell to the floor
the words that you said i heard no more
& as I listened to the things
that you didnt want to tell me
your words held no apology.
everything you once said was
a lie, a lie, an awful lie
& i knew just want to do
i tore & tore each note you gave
to prove this just to you
(& to get you out of my mind)
but i still remember everything
that i could not rip away from my memory
like the day when we stood, entwined
in front of mirrors that couldnt deny
the soft words that spoke
'you were made for me'
(& now, we barely speak)
you said you would always be there
but i don't see how
i've needed you more than ever
& you're not here now.
it was all a lie, a lie, an awful lie
When you said, you swore
our love would never die
Author notes
i heart brighteyes.
inspired by the song
'haligh, haligh, a lie, haligh'

no more sadness for anam....cause i said so. although, it makes you turn out amazing poems, i dont like you being sad cuase it makes me sad. we should hang out again so we can be stupid and eat chocolate till we get sick and then be stupidly happy, even if it only lasts that one night, it'll make you feel better. <3
