Turquoise waves lap around the sand,
and they crash against the shore,
you and I walk hand in hand,
whilst the seaguls swoop and soar.
Chorus
A thousand dreams burst in my head,
what does the future hold for me?
a thousand dreams burst in my head,
I hope this future comes to be.
Snowflakes falling thick and fast,
covering the ground,
it's Winter at long last,
there's magic all around.
chorus
I'm floating on a snowy cloud,
you float beside me,
angels hover in their crowd,
I hope this future comes to be.
chorus
Author notes
I wrote this to perform in my music class. I just got told to write and I did. It didn't take much planning, it's just about day dreaming. I composed a piano acompniment (sorry don't know how to spell that!) I cut one of the verses out because I didn't like it.

Thanks for sharing... I love daydreaming myself, is much better than what we are staying in but you know what I always say,
"If you daydream too much you'll miss the living dreams infront of your eyes."
As in, if you always daydream you'll never see what you already have, that is equally as beautiful.
I like your rhyming scheme... Hope your music class like it! Good luck. -
Great song/poem!!
I like it. Mind if I use the lyrics for Celtic Flyer?
