Through bloodshot eyes I watch
The girl that stole my life
I'm helpless as I see her
Once again grab that knife
She hurts herself so others can't
She drinks, she cheats, she lies
And no matter how loud I scream
She cannot hear my cries
She's ruining what she took from me
Destroying all that's there
She's killing herself and taking me with
And the truth is she just doesn't care
I plead with her to let me help
But she swears she can still hang on
I can only pray that the ones I loved
Will remember me once I'm gone
