He doesn't even know.
There's a man I know, that's so beautiful;
Even through his anger it still shows.
There's a man I know, that's so beautiful;
If he were to look in my eyes, he would see
What I see.
Oh beautiful man that I know; stop, stand
Still and look deep into your heart, so you
Could see the beauty that you control.
Oh beautiful man that I know; if you only
Knew what true beauty that you hold.
Oh beautiful man that I know

Author notes
I will distribute points. I dedicate this piece to all the doctors who devote their time to their patients that have been diaganosed with cancer. I feel without them and their research teams we would still be stuck in time without a cause or cure.

touches the strings of the heart of a man
As I read this I started to look around me ..is it me the
poet is talking about..Fancy that I almost giggled ..abashed and shy..but then the message came through , and I join the
club to thank all men and women who beleive enough in the sanctity of life enough to save it. Write more..compose on a
wider list of subjects..You wanna fly..well do it in a poem..
I like your approach , and good imagination. -
A fine one.
This reminds me of my husband when I was diagnosed with cancer and it has a certain quality about it. I liked how you handled the subject matter and congratulations on a fine write here. -

Why doest thou not but look and see,
The fountain of serenity?
That from this loving heart doth flow,
Why my love why dont you know?
The beauty of this garden way,
Where every hope of passion lay..........

Hey Smiley!!~Wow...I wouldn't ever call a man *beautiful* but it worked so well...I wish i knew beautiful men...but..great write please keep it up..you have no trouble doing it at all, do you?

Beautiful man....if they could only see through the eyes that admire them so.....however, as long as they have someone trying to show them the beauty they see....it may turn out and the beauty they may also see...This is great..I really enjoyed this one! Lisa

Beautiful work
Hmmm...sounds like a man I know, lol...this is beautiful, and I agree that not enough good things are written about men by women.
-
Some people just don't see what they're. It amazes me how you see how they are but they never even realise it, and say ya talking crazy, guess we all see eachother in a different light and now and then don't want to admit it. Good write
-
excellent
this is really good, well thought out. -
excellent
A very nice poem to write about someone you care about. I guess we should write more poems in honor of our guy, but knowing mine he wouldn't even read it... he's a great guy but not into poetry.
Oh well, can't have everything I guess :) Actually some of mine are about him in one way or another.
Yours is so sweet, though.....your guy better read it.
Dee -
quite lovely. he's a lucky guy, even if he can't see it.
-
thanks, I haven't thought of it that way.
-
lovely poem, i liked it a lot. it was very sweet. i would have said 'There's a man I know, who's so beautiful;'
instead of 'that's so beautiful' but otherwise it was good. -
lucky guy,,,,,beautiful pic

Beautiful write of the one you love. I see why you liked my poem to my wife. As you read I too had the anger and it also cost me all that was important. It took the 'almost losing' my love to tame the beast within and see what was truely important. A lucky man is he, to be loved by one who tries to understand. 1st line 'that' should be 'that's' as in the other lines. Thank you for sharing.

keep smiling -
Great poem! It was about me wasn't it? :) j.k!!

Hi Smiley,
I really love your poem! It's not often, good things are said about men. I'm glad you have found one as they seem most rare. The poem is great IMO. :) Tommy -
