Love is my Teacher, He came to tell
The wonders that He has learned from above
No other master knows so well
This Love alone can only tell
Oh if they would learn of God
How His wisdom and glory fills the earth
All human art and knowledge are a disgrace
Let Love alone, let my Teacher reveal
Love is my Master
That breaks the morning light
To You God my spirit only gratify
As Love instructs me through the day light
When the gleams of day retire
And midnight takes her dark control
Love's secret whispers still inspires
Its holy lesson of Love in my soul

I wanted to read this because of your title, you selected a good one! I couldn't agree with you more on the content of your well written poem but there was one line that "baffled" me: "All human art and knowledge are a disgrace" ...??? IMHO I felt that this was almost "anti" your own entry not to mention mine or other artists of any kind. I should think that part of love is sharing "love's whispers" or anything that comes through the Spirit to enlighten your fellow man!
That is LOVE ... Perhaps I misunderstood your point for that line? The rest of the poem shares beauty!

I thanks you very much for reading my poem. I understand your comment and I am not upset at all. That line "All human art and knowledge are a disgrace", what I meant by that is from my christian experience of walking with the Lord, I have learned that with all my human art and knowledge of loving the Lord and others are a disgrace compared to God's love. I have learned that the Lord loves us unconditionally and we humans love by conditions, example if you do this or that I am happy with you. The Lord is still my teacher because He teaches me to love myself and others the way He does which is soooo awesome and very beautiful. Thanks alot and may the Lord shine His face upon you and bless you richly. Love LP

Perfectly titled, I like the flow, and I love every word. I especially like the last stanza!!! Continue to allow the Holy Spirit to flow through you!!!! This is so awesome! It is the truth. What we learn of God from others, is not like the confirmation of living and walking with Him as He shows us daily His love and grace!
