Marigold

Hey ye, lovely spring,
Bring thy hues and fill my land.
Let the zephyr pass the fragrance by,
And hide our mother in thy showers.

Bring thy melody in this shining streams,
And in the whispering green.
Fly high fluttering thy wings,
Rush the clouds and clear the sky.

Let thy feast march,
Through the shady valleys,
Into my heart, into my dreams,
So deep in silence.....

And before ye leave take my world,
And let me be fast asleep,
Till I be back,
As a smiling Marigold...

Please tell me what you think

    Yes, and...

...what a beautiful after life that may be. Possibly a reincarnation that may go further even, stretching ourselves into eternities of so many things animate, inanimate and everything inbetween where numbers no longer play a role, nor war of any contrivance. Countless existences built and stacked all at once upon themselves and beyond what ever beyond may or could have ever brought upon ...just this existence!!!!
    Simply provocative Dear Poet!!!
Imaginations stretched such as yours. Here? For me it is a new life in itself, a new becoming!!
take care, & keep that imagination of yours churning and on forever!!!

    Very good

this is a really well written, exciting, mind sparkling poem, i love styles that have the 4 line stanzas, they seem a lot more balanced, dont you think? i also love text that make you think, theres absolutly no fun in things that are straight forward, dead infront of you and have to mystery and excitmewnt about them, something yours deffinately has (the exciting part). the way you use language and connotations to create the imargery is really clever and i really like the way you have archaic lexis in the poem, really livens it up and makes it more interesting. Well done, it was written well and extremely well though about!!

Pure of heart and light to touch, as gold as the flowers you write about. I enjoyed the visuals in this. Well done.

    Wow...

this is extremely beautiful. I love the style of writing, and it's obvious who inspired it. Shakespeare was a great writer. As are you. I love poems that don't have to make sense, and poems like this that make me think. They let me take in my own interpretations. Great job!! ~ Kerri
