A decision made for me,
five years gone by.
A future altered,
from what I know not.
Now I wonder,
what might have been.
What would be differant,
what the same?
What could have been,
if I had just stayed.
Would I have avoided mistakes
that arose from the distance.
No way now to know,
what that future held.
Please tell me what you think

Puzzling
Interesting concept. I wonder what would have happened had you not moved, had I not moved, or had we not met. Would we be the same people? Would we have the same vices, the same scars? Would the future be different, knowing that some things cannot change, some things will not change, and some things change by the course of time and logic?

it is interesting to look at the path our life has taken, and pin-point the crossroads along the way... interesting but futile... get over it! (i'm just giving you shit, cuz i can)... i like the poem, though.
