Late Autumn Kiss

I've never felt so safe before
Bellowed in a stranger's arms
And in the cold late autumn air
You kept me from harm
Though I hardly know you
I feel I've know you all my life
But when you look at me that way
I get lost in thoes eyes
It's confusing on how I feel
And I can't really explain
That when you walked me to my car
I wanted to be your mistake
And I know that it is true for me
And I know you like me so
If it isn't
Why did you call me 3 times in a row?
But this air is colder
And this only lasts for a moment
I am so scared right now
And I told you, so you know it
It's the first day of December
There's frozen snow on the ground
Your car is getting warmer
As we stand around
And as I go to hug you
Just as friends say goodbye
You look at me
Just at me and in MY eyes
You want to so bad but I can't let you yet
I wish that I could stop being so scared
And get my first late autumn kiss
But the moment passes
And I move away
I turn my head aside
The moment fades...
I feel so selfish to make you wait on me
But we are only friends
We aren't dating!
But this happened before
That one time ago
Whenever it wasnt so cold outside
When there wasnt' frozen snow
So maybe yesterday's moment passed
And another will come about
But one day I will do what you want me to
Without a doubt.
But now that I think of it
I see what I miss
