Who am I?

  I am me,
      Sixteen,
Practically grown.

  Brand new car,
      sleek,
Joy riding.

  Patch of Ice,
      Unseen,
I don't even remember.

~*~

  She was there,
      Sixteen,
My little girl.

  I got her a car,
      Happy Birthday,
She wanted to go riding.

  She's gone now,
      Forever,
I'll never forget.

~*~

  Red light ahead,
      Brakelights,
Not that it mattered.

  A nice car,
      new,
Sliding into me.

  The crunch of glass,
      Shattered,
My life changed forever.

~*~

  Crossing the road,
      Slowly,
Look both ways.

  Didn't see anything,
      Suddenly,
A scream of terror.

  A flash of light,
        nothing,
I feel no more pain.

~*~

  This just in,
      fresh,
There was a tragic accident tonight.

  Four lives are lost,
      Stolen,
Victims of fate and time.

  Please tune in,
      Tomorrow,
For the morning star gossip.

Author notes

I chose option A. Alright, this is a lot of points of view. They are:
1. The sixteen year old driver.
2. The mother of the sixteen year old.
3. A person in a car that was hit.
4. A person crossing the street that was hit.
5. The evening news spokes person.

There are several lessons in this poem. Two main themes are: Things can change in an instant. And, the world keeps turning in the face of a tragedy.
