He Is Jesus

When as a single cell I did divide, He was there.
When first I moved within the womb, He was there.
When  first I see the bright light,
wailing with delight, upon my mothers breast,
tasting the gift of life, He was there.

As I began, first steps, unsteady,
my first fall, He was there to pick me up,
set me on the route to his great hall.

Through the years, many stumbles and falls,
straying away from him and back again,
He cried and rejoiced always there.

When my seed provided the spark for new life,
He was there as my child did divide.
When tragedy entered unto me,
wailing in grief, inconsolable, needing to believe,
He was there.

Throughout my days, He is my way.
When last I close my eyes, He will be there
to take me where all souls gather,
to introduce me to the Father.
He is Jesus.
He is always there.

Please tell me what you think

This reminded me of when Jesus walked the earth and how wonderful it must have been to be there and experience his healing powers and his deep, deep love...thank you for the reminder and the entry. I know Rae and Christian will appreciate it.

The title captured my attention and held it to the end. Thank you very much in reminding me that He is always there. Sometimes we go through rough times and want to take charge, making things worse, yet knowing that only He is the one taking the lead, need I not do anything further but wait on him.

    He Is Always There

This is some good work! You integrate the fact that Jesus is always there, and the relational aspect that He is always there for you. Interesting the "he is always there" theme moving from one generation to another. Thanks for being a part of the contest

    PROFOUNDLY BEAUTIFUL!

I couldn't find the words you have to say what you have..You have done an excellent work here! All the work is strong, not weak! It talks of eternity, predestined to be His creation, He is always there, and here, and everywhere! The Title speaks for Himself...Omnipresent Jesus! The first line..talking about cell division Psalm 139....Your last stanza..is the one to take your home to heaven...The Alpha and Omega...He is there! And all the way between birth and death, He is there, our companion, our redeemer, healer, and so much more...HE IS THERE....wonderful work Mac!
