My heart flies happily as a dove
Singing in gratitude to dear God above
For being so kind as to bestow
Such siblings that make my life glow.
Like Massomeh, so benign and sweet
She is a sister, so rare and complete
And Ali, so inspiring and kind
Brothers so caring are hard to find
Both are like music on my heart's strings
And are so dear as real siblings
Brightening up my mundane days
Showering joy on my lonely ways
Healing those pains that cut like knife
Blossoming Spring in my wintry life
Though their dwelling is far away
How far, words cannot portray
Far away from my dear home
Far away from where I roam
But, to my heart, extremely close
Making it bloom like a lively rose
For they live and dwell here, too
Cheering me up when times are blue
Lifting my heart and bringing smiles
Solacing me through a distance of miles
O God Almighty ! I heartfully pray
Cast on every soul this sparkling ray
Of siblings so bosom and kind
That are a solace to heart and mind.
Singing in gratitude to dear God above
For being so kind as to bestow
Such siblings that make my life glow.
Like Massomeh, so benign and sweet
She is a sister, so rare and complete
And Ali, so inspiring and kind
Brothers so caring are hard to find
Both are like music on my heart's strings
And are so dear as real siblings
Brightening up my mundane days
Showering joy on my lonely ways
Healing those pains that cut like knife
Blossoming Spring in my wintry life
Though their dwelling is far away
How far, words cannot portray
Far away from my dear home
Far away from where I roam
But, to my heart, extremely close
Making it bloom like a lively rose
For they live and dwell here, too
Cheering me up when times are blue
Lifting my heart and bringing smiles
Solacing me through a distance of miles
O God Almighty ! I heartfully pray

Author notes
These verses are a heartfelt tribute to my sister Massomeh and my brother Ali whom I have known hardly three months but whom I love as if they were my
companions through ages. No doubt, they are one of the most precious assets of my life.
I wish, I pray...with all my might
that their life be always shiny and bright.
Please tell me what you think

Beautiful my dear
Dear sister of mine
Ah receiving such warm and kind words from you is the greatest welcome for me after a week absence. I don’t know if you hear this or not but I myself have a strong belief on this: “THERE IS A TELEPATHY AMONG HEARTS” before you and Ali enter my life, AP was more a mere website for poetry for me but you change it to a comfortable and lovely home for me. You read the poem “O Lord! I want you a sis!” you are my fulfil wish, Naila.
I am speechless in front of all sweetness of your words. I just know there is just one NAILA for me in this world and she’s the creator of this piece.
With lots of love and respect for you. A big hug from your Iranian sis
