There are black shadows surrounding me,
All nightmares become reality.
I'm falling into the darkest night,
Drawn into the absence of light.
I'm enveloped by nothingness,
Solid and still as elusive as gas.
Embraced by silence, I cannot hear,
All bravery's gone, I'm full of fear.
Where has the light gone? Why won't it come back?
Even inside me, everything is black.
My soul is empty, my body is cold,
To merciless creatures I've been sold.
They're coming closer - Can't anyone see?
This time, there's no one to rescue me.
I scream for mercy but my begging's not heard,
No single sound, no single word.
They torture me until next day,
All the night long they will stay.
