A cannibal
My own mouth that bites
My own hand
that feeds it
Carnivorous
This need for incessant longing
It consumes me
And every part of me
That
Could
Be
You
I've collapsed, here
And cast my incantations
I've challenged my own creed
And confused the world with a man.
Author notes
Ahh.. the wonderful musings of a confused girl after a breakup.

I like how you compare wallowing in your suffering as an act of cannibalism, for indeed such wallowing devours one's will to move on. The speaker may be confused, but she displays incredible insight. Thanks so much for entering my contest!

oh my....you wish to eat this guy alive??? must've been a rather disasterous break-up!
And cast my incantations
I love this line right here....it gives a powerful sense of control over this person that you've seemingly let go but you're still holding onto pshycologically. awesome write!
