I need a brief respite
in this long fight to
recover some sense of calm.
Just a short interlude
in the family feud
to fire the heart.
A quick intermission
to lessen the tension.
A stitch in time for
this heart of mine
to hold in the love...
What are those secrets
hidden behind your eyes?
Why do your silences begin
to sound like lies?
What have I done to
be treated this way?
Why won't you answer
whether to go or stay?
Lost, Lost. God I am lost.
I have twisted and turned,
yet i cannot find my bearings.
This ship travels with
no rudder.
I sail seas uncharted.
Lost and drifting
down to the bottom....
Turn off the country songs.
They sing to much of love
gone wrong.
Of hurt, pain, and jealousy,
which drives a man insane.
Please stop these leaving songs.
They remind me to much of you
and the love I am about to lose.
So stop the songs about love
gone bad. Bring back the music
we once had......
Silence is golden it is said.
Tension can ruin silence
changing the golden to dread.
Fearing the words that
always follows the silence
messing with your head....
Talk to me.
Its time to say what is
on your mind.
I can take the pain of
love lost.
Maybe even hate from
love gone bad.
I can't take the silence
of not knowing.
The stabbing hurt of
indifference of love
no longer shared.

This has a ring to it and one i dont think i want to go
i read the lines I cast back my mind to a different time and place just different players
same game. You put down the emotions well think there will those who will relate to their own pain and each with a different reason why
You nailed this one
