I felt like I was in your shoes and with every word I could fell the love radiating out-wards, then at the end it all falls in a heap.

When I read this... the first time, when you sent it to me... I just thought that it was love, and then as you realized all you had was a photograph to remember her, your love, by, it was a heartbreaking experience. I have been in a situation like this and know how painful that it can be. I know that it can last for forever.

Fantastic writing
Your poetic, flowing words reveal a fantasy that can never be. Unless two people feel the same way about each other,the love can't be reciprocated. I know exactly how you feel. It so dissappointing when you are madly in love with someone, and all they feel for you is friendship. I have had my share of one-sided relationships and have been guilting of loving someone too much just to hold onto a relationship. I matured a little bit and realized now that I won't settle for just any relationship. I am at a loss for words. You write so magnificently. I love your poem. Although it is sad, I am glad you shared your feelings. -

my first impression is that of a lost love. My favorite part is who you are looking at and describe her so well.It made me question if he loves her so much why then only friends? And I question why is he looking at her picture and remembering the thrill of her.Your photograph is a nice Title it can apply to anyone.Can be no more than that of friends is an excellent line. But my mind wants to know why? Wishing the poem explained that part.Are you still the luckiest man alive? Or maybe once knowing you I was the luckiest man alive.Nice stanzas, nice metaphors and similies. You are very concice. Love is unfair at times.But friends are the most important aspect of love.

you know that I love the way you write. This is so full of emotion. You can tell how bad he wants her and longs for her. Then the heartbreak that he feels when he realizes it is just her picture and that he can never have her the way that he wantes her.
