The Unknown

You leave me behind
to finish all that we started
I feel my mind twist and contort
as i stand over your corpse,slipping away
tears moving down my face
you place the ring in my hand,i look into your eyes
i kiss your cheek one last time
you pass in my arms,leaving me alone
I lay you on the bed and cross your arms
covered in blood i let you go,give you to the unknown
I should have been the one to go
Now i live for both of us,not regreting,except on thing
not being quick enough and be in your place
now you remain in the unknown,and i wait to see you again
