piebald pages,
the telltale signs of white-water tears,
ink and porcelain drops.
archipelago dreams,
scrawled down the edge of notepaper
through some dappled mauve atlantic.
dreams of moonlight hidden in smoke,
full of blind images and simmering silence,
the lonely dregs
of eyes on the moon.
hearts and flowers,
black fields and blossoming echoes,
all the newspaper cutouts have faded,
shadows are back to be flicked and shunned
across waiting paper.
quietly burning beyond the soft stab of roses,
trapped in a web of static sketches,
the silence burns my paper fairy
and carves her fallen dreams on paper.
