WANTED: Marlboro Man...

Mysticstorm I love you so!
You are my Sis, this I know.
Kindred spirits from the start,
your love for creatures stole my heart.

Crazy ways and wicked pen,
devoted Mother til the end.
You make me laugh until I cry
and love cowboys too...oh my!

Lovely lady with savage wit,
dreaming of cowboys we sit
staring at our computer screens
detailing out upcoming scheme.

To seek and find the Marlboro Man,
emailing back and forth our plan.
Together we shall travel west
and search for cowboys we think best!

And we will wear our cowgirl hats
and boots and spurs of which we chat,
our plans are almost finalized!
Will cowgirl dreams be realized?

To seek and find the Marlboro Man
and his brother?  I think we can!!
The West holds promise for us two
only real cowboys will do!

But first a promise! Never speak
of our adventures as we seek
to find cowboys for a thrill
and make our little hearts stand still!

We shall keep it secret! Yes?
What happens shall remain out west!
When we return with smiles and blush
no one shall know but only us...

True cowgirls don't kiss and tell
about the night Yee Haw was yelled!
We smile like ladies and pretend,
"THAT cowboy? He's just a friend!"

And only Kim will know the truth,
my hidden spurs shall be my proof
that once we found the Marlboro Man
he became a poetry fan!!!!

YEEEE HAAAWWWWW!!!!!!! COWGIRL!!!!!!!!!!

Now where is my hat???

This is absolutely incredible. The rhyme and meter and flow are awesome. The tale is delightful. Brought a smile to my face as I read of the search of the Marlboro Man. Cowboys are our weakness..You have been truly blessed with the gift of pen. Your words flow as that of angel. Thank you for sharing and I am so sure she smiled. Dawn

    A witty ode.

I think it is a beautiful ode to Mysticstorm, though it is a secondary ode to the "old Marlboro Man"
I heard of in the anti smoking films in school,
Though while reading I couldn't help a grin.
You have a wit beyond the cosmic sphere in which you write! I found it a fun and amusing roller-coaster ode! Wonderful verses--Robert
