Disappointment
I have had my fair share
Plus so much more
My Sweet
He left me
His heart untrue
My friends
They left me
Uninterested in someone who would not be like them
My teachers
They try, but dare not become too involved
Who can blame any of them?
It was only me
But from the disappointment
Comes the reward
My Sweet left me
I found my Love
My friends left me
I found my Kindred Spirits
My teachers left me
I found my Support
I have seen through the guise of disappointment
That what lies within it is joy and hope
New beginnings can only come to life
After the old ones have found their rest
