my jaw dropped at the power and message in those few words....all is what it is...not , most really is what we make it, and origami is such a great metaphor for that statement.Thank you for that pearl of wisdom,

    Very Nice

You touch upon both the creative (don't complain, fix it!) and the acceptance (make no contracts) of a sustaining happiness in life.

I tend to be vastly more verbose in my work so this is a bright and enjoyable change of pace.

Reminded, yet again, that life is what we make of it and our feelings are what we allow them to be, my day will be brighter and happier having read your work this morning.

    Thank you

I'm in the unenviable position of following a comment like this. Anyway, I believe what you say is true. Origami, art, life or anything is just what you make of it. After all isn't life what we perceive it to be?

    Sincerely,
    Leo Long

    Dual by nature...

I believe the title actually changes the view here, for it influences the line of thinking, but that my be your very intent...

From my perspective I see it as the grey of a black and white world. Mans or womens as the case my be here to change the basic nature of what is at the core to bring about a "type" of condition they can accept.

Irregardless of the shape it is still mere paper in it's basic essence and that can not be changed. By shaping it, we try to fulfill our wants and needs, trying to turn it into something for our own pleasure, for fulfillent of something to replace that which we
feel is lacking in our life.

The molding of anything will always tend to bring
about disorder, for once a "pure" is changed it is then open to opinion and no longer represents the absolute truth it once did.

One need only go to a gallery and ask people what that picture REALLY means to see what I am saying here.

To me this short lined powerhouse sums up beautifully
the conflict of cosmos vs man, spirtual vs material,
    truth vs denial.

I think it kicks major butt, but then what the hell do I know...lol

    Happy Holidays
