A Little Love Story!

Gordon was a garden gnome,
who led a lonely life.
He only had his fishing rod,
what he really wanted was a wife.

He sat upon a rustic bridge,
fishing all day long.
The other gnomes all laughed at him,
as they sang this little song.

"Our Gordon is a lonesome gnome,
all he does, is keep on fishing.
But he really needs a girlfriend
and indulge in lots of kissing!"

Poor Gordon blushed a brilliant red,
his face all flushed and hot.
Salty tears rolled down those rosy cheeks;
A happy gnome? No he was not!

One day a lovely fairy came,
with wings of silk, so pure.
She gazed at Gordon, sitting there,
her smile sweet and so demure.

She thought he was so handsome,
they fell in love that day;
They married in the Springtime.
A five-piece gnome band, came to play!

Now they sit upon that bridge
and cast their lines together.
Gordon is the happiest gnome,
now he's found true love, forever.
